Shiseido Releases Urban Environment Vita-Clear Sunscreen SPF 42

Consumers can bid adieu to sun spots and hello to glowing skin with Shiseido’s new Urban Environment Vita-Clear SPF 42. 

 

The lightweight daily sunscreen protects skin from UV rays while visibly brightening skin with vitamin C. Powered by Shiseido’s proprietary Sun Dual Care Technology, this sunscreen emulsion provides protection and additional skincare benefits to treat and prevent sun spots. I

 

Sun Dual Care, free of oxybenzone and octinoxate, is a unique combination of skincare and suncare benefits that deliver effective protection while treating the skin from within. The formula includes Vitamin C Ethyl (ethyl ascorbic acid), a vitamin C derivative that helps treat and prevent sun spots while leaving skin visibly brighter; hyaluronic acid which delivers, attracts and retains intense moisture; Spirulina Essence, which converts UV into beneficial greenish visible light; and Hypotaurine which inhibits oxidation of skin caused by blue light. 

 

In a clinical, two-week study, skin appeared visibly brighter and smoother with the appearance of pores visibly softened after tested on 31 subjects.
